Tudor Demonstrates Its Confidence

Tudor

One of the most compelling stories in contemporary watchmaking is being written by Tudor. Founded in 1926, the brand remains committed to functionality and everyday practicality while confidently developing its own distinctive design language. This year, however, Tudor also takes a step off the beaten path with the introduction of the Monarch, a modern reinterpretation of a lesser-known chapter in its history.

Tudor Monarch

The Tudor Monarch draws inspiration from a little-known model from the early 1990s, reimagined as a refined everyday timepiece with contemporary appeal.

Its defining feature is the California dial, with Roman numerals on the upper half and Arabic numerals on the lower. The dial's subtle texture evokes the appearance of aged paper or natural patina, giving the watch vintage character despite its thoroughly modern engineering.

The hour and minute hands retain Tudor's iconic Snowflake design, now subtly reinterpreted. Rather than being fully filled, the Snowflake shape is defined only by its outer contour, creating a lighter and more elegant appearance.

Housed in a 39 mm case is the new in-house MT5662-2U movement, certified as a Master Chronometer. The combination of polished and satin-brushed surfaces creates a discreet contrast that enhances the model's timeless elegance. The integrated bracelet follows the same geometric design language, resulting in a seamless and sophisticated look on the wrist.

Tudor Black Bay Ceramic

One of the most contemporary and technically advanced interpretations of the Black Bay collection is the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic, where the aesthetics of a professional dive watch meet cutting-edge materials and high-end watchmaking. Unlike most Black Bay models, which draw heavily on vintage inspiration, the Ceramic embraces a distinctly modern and futuristic direction, both visually and technically.

The case is crafted entirely from black ceramic—a material that is exceptionally scratch-resistant while being significantly lighter than steel. A combination of matte and polished finishes adds depth to the monochromatic design, giving the watch a minimalist, almost monolithic presence while maintaining a sophisticated appearance.

Inside beats Tudor's in-house METAS-certified movement, offering exceptional precision, resistance to magnetic fields, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve.

Tudor Royal

The Royal collection, one of Tudor's most accessible sport-elegant lines, has undergone a significant evolution. It combines heritage, refinement, and now an upgraded mechanical offering to support its story.

The collection is now available in 30, 36, and 40 mm case sizes, crafted in stainless steel or steel-and-gold combinations. The satin-brushed stainless-steel case is paired with Tudor's signature five-link integrated bracelet, a design element that defines much of the watch's visual identity. Predominantly brushed surfaces are complemented by polished centre links that catch the light beautifully, adding an extra sense of refinement.

The redesigned notched bezel now features a sharper, more defined profile. Combined with the easily adjustable T-fit clasp, the result is a watch that feels exceptionally well considered on the wrist. All models are powered by Tudor's in-house movements.
