Nomos takes you around the world

Do you travel a lot or do you just dream of foreign places? Nomos from the German watchmaking mecca Glasshütte offers you the opportunity to reach any unvisited places with just a few presses of a button and at least temporarily satisfy your desire for adventure. Nomos once again proves its brilliance with technological home-grown perfection and sophisticated colour shades. Fasten your bracelets, let's go on a journey!

A traveller called Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer

This year's novelty comes in the form of a timepiece with a world clock. This complication allows us to keep track of the time in all other time zones around the world and easily correct the time when travelling to another time zone. So far, the Nomos catalogue has offered two types of such timepieces, namely the Zürich Worldtimer and the Tangomat GMT, in which the time zones were illustrated by airport signs. For all travel enthusiasts, Nomos has introduced the Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer model this year.

This timepiece brings a breath of fresh air with a modern style, while maintaining an extremely practical display of time zones. It boasts the new DUW 3202 calibre, which has a 42-hour power reserve. On the back, we can see the decorated details of the movement, where the golden globe on the rotor stands out. The case measures 40.5mm in diameter and is only 9.9mm thick.

This time the distance from lug to lug measures only 48mms. This further increases the wearing comfort, as the watch fits nicely on both larger and smaller wrists. The functionality of this watch is reflected in its simple design. With a push-piece above the 2 o'clock mark, the circular ring with world locations can be easily moved until your time zone is shown in red at the 12 o'clock mark. And your time is set!

In addition to the classic seconds hand, the dial also includes a subdial with a 24-hour display in the lower part, where the colour contrast creates a distinction between day and night. The regular offer includes a blue and grey dial, decorated with a sunburst detail.

But Nomos wouldn't be Nomos if it didn't write its own story. This time, it's spoiling us again with an additional limited series of six different colourful timepieces, all of which retain the same functionality. This year's colour version also commemorates 175 years of watchmaking in Glashütte, so only 175 examples of each colour version will be available.

Each of the colour combinations writes its own story, and together they complete the world. Just as Nomos does. Every small, but carefully planned, addition to the timepiece connects the little things into a unique whole.
