NOMOS: Smaller Size, Same Philosophy
The German watchmaker NOMOS Glashütte remains true to its distinctive minimalist design language rooted in the Bauhaus tradition. In the small German town of Glashütte, the brand creates slim cases housing in-house mechanical movements. This year’s novelties follow the same philosophy: the Tangente Update arrives in a smaller size and, for the first time, in gold, while the Club Campus collection introduces new colourful interpretations.
NOMOS Tangente neomatik 38 Update
The new NOMOS Tangente neomatik 38 Update receives a more compact 38.5 mm case. With a thickness of just 7.4 mm, it offers a perfect balance between classic elegance and contemporary proportions. The timepiece is powered by the automatic DUW 6101 calibre, featuring NOMOS’ award-winning date display.
The signature ring date display remains one of NOMOS’ most recognisable innovations. With two subtle markers highlighting the current date, it preserves the clean, minimalist character of the dial while offering excellent everyday functionality. The movement also allows quick adjustment of the date both forwards and backwards.
For an added sense of luxury and warmth, the model is also available in a gold case.
The Playful Club Campus Collection
The youthful Club Campus collection welcomes new colourful variations, for example the Full Rose pink dial, more playful character to the collection’s everyday versatility.
The combination of Arabic and Roman numerals creates the signature California dial, while the watches are powered by NOMOS’ in-house manually wound movement. Both models are available in 36 mm and 38.5 mm case sizes.
